This taste bitter...help!

1) Brush your teeth

First, the minty taste of your toothpaste will minimize the taste since your tongue will still have that

minty flavor. Brushing your teeth also removes the thin film of bacteria that accumulates in your mouth.

Finally, with a clean mouth, CBD can be absorbed faster, leaving less of an aftertaste.

It is possible to distract your tastebuds to improve your dosing experience.

The most effective ways we have found to help lessen or mask the bitter taste is to:

2) Try it with a chaser

Try taking CBD with a chaser of some type. We think an acidic drink works best, like orange juice or

lemon water. Some swear by coffee.

To avoid contact with the taste of the CBD product altogether, take your chaser the moment you dose

yourself. Just remember that you will get more immediate benefits when you take CBD sublingually

(under your tongue). So, if possible, try to hold the oil under your tongue for at least 60 seconds before

going for your chaser.

You can also eat something after to get rid of the taste. Please, try to wait at least 60 seconds if

possible.

Adding CBD oil to food or drink is an option if you cannot stand the taste of CBD. However, remember

that this ingestion method has a much slower absorption rate than sublingual use, and it can take over

an hour for the dosage to take effect after ingestion while lessening the overall benefit.

3) Under the tongue combo - this is our method, we use a peppermint

Instead of taking CBD sublingually on its own, add something sweet under your tongue. This can

include a small piece of organic chocolate, a mint or a spoonful of raw honey.

4) Consider toning down the flavor with Stevia drops, which you can get at a natural foods store.

But make sure you run a taste test first.

You can put a few drops of your CBD and the chosen flavor on the back of your hand to gauge the

combo. If you like it, add the flavoring to your oil and shake well.

5) Hold your nose while CBD oil is absorbing

Smell provides a vital role in how you perceive taste. Blocking the airflow through the nose makes the

taste of CBD oil much less pronounced. Just hold it while the CBD absorbs sublingually (approximately

60 seconds). People who consume CBD regularly say this method takes away at least half of the hemp

flavor profile of the oil.

6) The colder, the better

Some believe that cold CBD tastes better. Perhaps that’s because your tongue immediately reacts to

the cold temperature and freshness rather than the flavor. There will probably still be an earthy hemp

flavor. But it will be much more palatable than before!

Still hate it?

If you still despise the flavor, you may do better on our CBD isolate product which is odorless and tasteless.

We hope this list of suggestions has given you some ideas for how to make a more pleasurable and

flavorful CBD experience. To us, the benefits far outweigh the flavor.
